looking for my 1st 5 string

i want to spend under 1500 for a 5'er. i like the warwick corvette standard (both active bubinga and passive ash), maybe a bongo 5, or a spector zebrawood 5.
ideally i want a 22+ fret bass with good build quality and good wood. ideas?
