Are you just comparing?

You can also do an Eden Navigator preamp that has a crossover knob into a good power amp!
You would have a left and right signal. Right being LOWS and left being HI. Then you set the volume for each cab using the power amp.

You can also do a Sansamp preamp that has a uneffected and effected signal into a DBX 215 dual EQ. You can EQ each signal differently into a power amp. Bottom cab could be EQ'd with lows uneffected signal. Top cab could be EQ'd with mids and treble that's effected with the tone of the sansamp. I use to do this with my metal band at that time into 2x Avatar 4x10 each at 4ohms! Worked great. That was my way of bi-amping.

Why are you bi-amping, or dual mono amping (or whatever) two of the exact same cab? You just need an amp that has two speaker outputs and will run at 2 ohms. In other words, most 2 ohm capable amps will get the job done for you because it is almost rare for an amp to have only one speaker output. Not to mention, you may even be able to get away with one. Because all the Carvin cabs I have ever owned have speaker in/out jacks on them so you can daisy chain them (ran in parallel so it wouldn't be any different than two outputs on the back of the amp).

Did I just miss something huge or is the OP way over thinking this?

Why are you bi-amping, or dual mono amping (or whatever) two of the exact same cab? You just need an amp that has two speaker outputs and will run at 2 ohms. In other words, most 2 ohm capable amps will get the job done for you because it is almost rare for an amp to have only one speaker output. Not to mention, you may even be able to get away with one. I think he is just doing his homework and probably wants to see if there's better options before settling on something expensive.
The 2001RB is no joke. It's a monster amp with huge balls strapped to it.
You can honestly power 4 cabs @ 4ohms each. That's like 16x12's or 32x10's if you desire massive volume. :bassist:
The only con to this amp, for me, is weight. 40lbs. :help:

If money is of concern its hard to beat the prices on a used SWR SM400S. They can be had sooo cheap on the used market and they have dual 4 ohm capable amps that will have a balance control. 500 class AB Watts RMS. Should you ever want to go with genuine bi-amping down the road it's equipped with a variable crossover too.

SWR has gone out of fad in recent years, so much so, Fender has discontinued the line. That's whats driving used prices to ridiculous lows. Pro lever gear that's easily repairable by any decent tech at low low prices.

All the other suggestions are right on though. You might be o.k. with a Mesa Walkabout as well. Just under 500 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms.

Actually, dual mono amping is a wonderful thing. You don't get into the extra heat and increased THD of running some amps at 2ohms (there is a difference in being 'safe' to run at 20hms versus being specifically designed to run at 2ohms). +1 though that bi-amping with a crossover makes no sense, but that isn't what the OP is talking about.

If I remember correctly that is exactly the OP's rig. A 4 ohm BRX210 and a 4 ohm BRX410. It's actually pretty stupid that Carvin didn't make the BRX210 an 8 ohm cab imho, but oh well.
