Looking for small amp head

When I A/B'd the GB Shuttle 6.0 and the Ampeg PF, it was the Shuttle hands down for me. The Shuttle also is rated as having a little more power, and I like its tube pre. The Shuttle also sounded better to my ears than Markbass, GK, and SWR micro/Class D amps. As a final note, I should add that when I started shopping I was fairly set on getting an Ampeg PF-500, and was even disappointed when it didn't pan out in my comparisons.

You can't go wrong with a Shuttle. Get a 6.0 or a 9.0 though... more future proof as far as ample headroom goes. Light weight. Tone for days. Simple to use. You can run it without a speaker load, just headphones if need be. Just run it set for pre EQ through the board when in church and then you will have more flexibility with what you do at the cab without giving your sound man fits (at least that was the conclusion I came to at my church) . Remember though .. the Shuttles use speakon cables so if your cab is not speakon you'd have to get a speakon to 1/4" cable. No biggie..
