Looking for some feedback...

Hello, I have been playing bass for about twenty years. I love playing, but I am always looking to improve my playing and becoming a more solid player, as well as improve my technique within the context of the bands I am playing in. I have started playing rock more seriously about five years ago and would really like to hopefully improve my playing abilities. If you could please listen to the link below, I would be interested in getting some constructive feedback on my playing and hopefully some ways I can improve.

If you follow the link, there are about seven tracks in total.

Thank you Talkbass!

I listened to "Industrial Jam" and your band is awesome.

I think your playing compliments the band pretty well.

The questions your asking is going to warrant "personal" opinions and preferences that can be more destructive than helpful. Eg: I like sliding into notes when there's openness. But that might not fit into your bands feel.

I really believe you have great questions but are asking the wrong people. Not sure if you asked your mates yet but I believe that's the best place to start. What your asking, is kinda like asking a woman how to please your woman. And there's no better person to get that info from than your woman.

I hope you don't take this a negative. Just want to give you a way to be successful at your goal.

Thank you FF for taking a moment to listen! I appreciate your advice. I agree it is great to get feedback from the band -- it has actually helped me progress faster than I would have imagined. The guys in the band are all really great musicians and have inspired me in more than just my playing abilities. Thanks again!
