Looking for the smallest & cheapest Full scale practice bass.

I dont have any thoughts of using it to jam or ever play with friends.
Rather I just want the smallest full scale Bass Guitar I can find so I can take it to work.
I'm a truck driver & find myself with lots of down time sitting in the drivers seat waiting...

So as long as its got a 1/2 decent sound quality I'll be fine with it.
I sit in the drivers seat with a big rig steering wheel in front of me so i have VERY LIMITED space.
& find bringing my full sized electrics to just be a pain in the booty.
So I normally dont do it, but if I could find a tiny version of a full scaled bass guitar for as cheap as possible I would start taking it every day to start keeping my chops up.

Seems like MiniStars are much cheaper?

Like i said I don't care too much about sound quality unless its stupid sounding, because I'll be the only one hearing it, its more about keeping my fingers tuned since I have not played in years..

I can care less how they look!
You might have a point about playing sitting down, but they do come with some tubing its seems to sorta create a body shape for your leg?
& I'm fine with used in what ever brand, I just want CHEAP!
I'm really broke & should not even be thinking about this due to my current money issues..

I have a Ministar - it's inexpensive - the accompanying rods are a bit akward but work ok for allowing the bass to hand naturally while standing. It is pretty light so that helps playing in other positions. Still, different feel than a regular bass guitar.

I also have an inexpenzive Lotus headless that I like very well - it is similar to a Steinberger. I bought it for something like $100 or so and it is a real thumper. I prefer it to the Ministar and Although the Ministar is fine, I'm going to sell it when I get a chance.

The Traveller basses have the best ergonomics of the travel basses IMHO but are a bit more money - I wouldn't mind having one. Scale length is something like 32.5". They make more than one model but I have played the light one with the peizo pickup and liked it quite well. I have a Traveller 6 string guitar but not a Traveller bass.

Does the MiniStar have a built in set up for headphones?
Looks like the website shows that the new ones have a built in headphone amp with EQ boost, Is it just the EQ boost that is new or is it the headphone amp?

I've decided I don't wanna drag my pignose amp with me to work, so I'm back looking at the MS...?
