So I’m looking around for different pickups to swap out my vmod II for.
I’ve got an am pro II p bass and although it does sound great, it’s not exactly hitting all the marks for me so I’d like to try a different pickup.
What I’m looking for is the sort of classic p bass sound, I very much like late 50’s and 60’s precision sounds and I also quite enjoy how the bartolini 8CPB sounds.
That being said, which pickup would you guys point me in the direction of trying out? I may buy the bartolini just to have on hand but am also leaning towards the fender custom shop 62.
