Double Bass Looking to Try Upton and New Standard Basses

I am based out of Richmond VA. I have an interest in the new standard cleveland and upton bohemian basses. I currently don't have the ability to go up to CT and try them out. I was wondering if there was anyone that had either model, laminated or hybrid, nearby that would let me try them out.

I have a 2009 standard hybrid which is basically the bohemian and today I am going to be in Thomas WV, I know it's not really close to Richmond but it's closer then Pittsburgh where the bass is now.

what I read both are good starter basses.
