Hey, I'm going to SoCal in a few days and I wanted to know what cool places I could visit while being there for two months. Any gigs, shows, places to hang out or whatever interesting place? Oh, and I want to check out bass stores obviously (or even pawn shops)... but I'm wanting to see used basses since I don't have the money to buy a new one... maybe MIM fenders. But a good deal on a fretless pedulla or a musicman would be nice too
I'll be staying around monterey park/los angeles. But I'll be working in the Ontario Mills mall. So... recommendations welcome.

What store are you working @ Ontario mills? My wife is trying to drag me out there. 200 stores right? (my knees..)

BTW, there's a GC in that area (Rancho Cucamonga IIRC)

I live in argentina (even though I'm korean-american) so yeah... I know spanish as a first language as well as english. I'll be working at a photo store, not sure about it's name...

The NAMM show is next month in Anaheim.

You could visit the mountain areas--Big Bear, Wrightwood, Idyllwild, Julian, etc.

Sweet! I used to live down the street from Ontario Mills Mall. There is a great tamale stand on Mission, down by Central. It's inside a mini-mart. Kind of by In N Out.
