Lou Barlow Appreciation Thread

I was late to the Dinosaur Jr game, but lucky enough to catch them when the reunited to play Wrecking Ball in Atlanta, August 2016. Since then, I've gained such an appreciation of Lou Barlow, his style, his aesthetic, everything. Love his tone, love the chords, some of my favorite lines to learn and play.

Especially this one -

Looks like Lou finally saw the light and has been playing a Stingray on their latest shows. I believe it was given to J and he traded for it.

He picks so far up the neck that I'd imagine the kind of bass he plays doesn't matter that much, but he was clinging to that Gen X cred of playing crappy vintage stuff.
