Brian’s custom pick ups are hard to beat, particularly when paired with his custom preamp! Howard’s pick ups also seem to make it into a lot of low ends – they also sound killer.
The “Curves” in the LowEnd logo. Brian’s has them made that way now.

I got in my email, saw the TalkBass alert, came all the way over to this thread to see the update, and this is what I got??
Let's revive this baby! Just yesterday I got this beautiful (previously loved) LEJ5.
Brian is a stand up person, from the moment he was made aware that I got this bass, he added me on all his socials and has been blowing up my PM's following up on the feel of the bass and offered his service to work on the bass, even though I didn't buy it from him. That's quality customer care right there!
