Low tension strings?

I have on a set of the new Fender 9050CL Custom Light (105/80/60/45). Nice sound, but I miss the grind and growl of rounds. (Plus, I've got a set of LaBella DTB flats on another bass.)

I do have a set of Circle-K Balanced nickel rounds (106/80/58/43). Those sounded nice on this bass, but I really prefer to stick with low tension strings that are easy on this bass's neck.

Any suggestions on low tension nickel rounds for me to check out?

DR Sunbeams. Round core = low tension!

They will allow you to keep the tone of thicker strings, and still have low tension.

i recently tried Dunlops and they seem like rubber bands on my jbass! i swapped out a set of Rotos, (had to flatten my intonation), and have been enjoying the feel. gl.

Thinner strings = lower tension

Circle Ks in a smaller gauge, the .096 or .100 set

Dean Markley blue steel nickels could be worth a try. Their stainless steel version does have a little less tension then Dr neons. Not sure how the neons compare to sunbeams though.

Naked Strings are pretty low tension. You can pick your own gauges and they're dirt cheap too.
