I was up at LowEnd Bass shop and notice Brian working on a lil box for a customer. The customer wanted something to beef up his passive bass. So, the box had the LowEnd electronics installed. I don't know if Brian is going to put this on the market, but the customer who is getting this will be very happy.
I tried it out on a Sadowsky PJ, active and passive, and a Lakland Bob Glaub PJ passive. Personally, I prefer it with a passive bass. This box took each bass to another level. No, it's not going to sound like a LEJ, but it will give your bass a kick. The Sadowsky was nice with a soft growl, but the Lakland BG was the winner. You could hear the "P Growl" real well. It kept most of it's vintage tone and smacked you in the face at the same time. If the Glaub came in a 5 string, it and the box would have went out the door. LOLOL! Great, uhhh, prototype Brian?
