LowEndLobster Bass Videos

We have ANOTHER Harley Benton video for you all this week. This time we're unboxing the brand new JP-45OP and JJ-55OP models and giving our first impressions. Off the bat, I have to say that the build quality and neck feel is KILLER. The pickups on the JP seem to be the weak point, and less so on the JJ (which has a 2 band pre). Enjoy!

I was getting ready to pull the trigger on ordering a couple of these. The build quality seems nice enough that it would be a great mod platform. Thanks for your video and looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

Kinda too bad that we can't see a headline on the subject of the video anymore, because I think that's what people would be more inclined to be drawn to if we're interested. I don't have any interest in Harley Benton, for example, so I wouldn't click that, but others I would. Just makes it harder to separate out what we're interested in.

But I do thank you for continuing to provide these reviews; I think all of us appreciate what you do.

Yeah, one of the downsides of this new thread format in TB is that I can't really post my videos to the relevant thread but I appreciate that folks have gone out of their way to share my stuff on there. I try and put relevant but concise info in the thumbnail so folks know what they're getting into vs doing clickbaity thumbnails (though I've done a few of those heh).

Is this a FT gig for you?

No, I have a day job in a completely different field. I've actually moved to two videos a week from three to get a better balance going. I generally shoot videos on Saturday and edit during some downtime. I also try to keep things simple and streamlined to make editing quick and easy. No backing tracks, multiple camera feeds or audio feeds. Just me, the camera and the bass (and the amp + audio interface).

Hey everyone! Here's today's video and it is a good one! We are putting the G&L Big Chonks through it's paces in this in depth full review. Let's check it out!

Great review Lobster! I totally love my regular L-2500 CLF. I usually have both pickups on, parallel, bass and treble at 90% but I've been finding myself playing with the neck pickup more too! And I agree, the B string is just killer. The tone on this bass makes me smile!

I've been a subscriber ever since you bought that P bass body from me. I don't mind coming here, but I usually just catch your videos in my YouTube feed. A stand out for me was the tone you got with that Epi Jack Cassidy
