LowEndLobster Bass Videos

hey LEL. I have the Marquess in blue. mine came with pickups that don\t look like the ones on thoman or in any of the vids I saw. you can see the magnets. I was thinking maybe it is an upgrade or new version. Anyway it sounds real nice and seem to be hot pickups compared to some of my other basses I can have this bass on 2 on my fender 40 and it sound like its on 5. I still have a slight hmm with the jazz pickup but still a great bass for around 240.

Your attachment isn't showing. That's very odd though. Would love to see pics!

Hey everyone! Here's my latest video reviewing the Jackson Spectra SBA V Pro Series. This is the flagship Jackson that is taking on the likes of the premium series Ibanez Soundgear SR-1605. Jackson is looking to take on Ibanez at their own game, but is the Spectra up to snuff? Let's find out!

Big thanks to Bully for letting me borrow this bass.

Hey everyone! Today we're reviewing the Harley Benton JJ-55OP, the other new gem from Harley Benton. We already reviewed the JP and were pleased with it's great playability, great usable tone, and ridiculously cheap price tag. Will the JJ follow suit? Let's find out!

Hey everyone! Today we're unboxing and getting my first impressions of Marilyn from Offbeat Guitars. Offbeat has created an interesting niche for themselves building high quality, affordable, and unique looking instruments that feel like an "old friend". The weathered pickguard and hardware combined with the beautiful poly+oil blend finish makes for a bass that doesn't necessarily feel old (not in the same vein as reliced instruments), but makes for a welcoming and warm playing experience. Full review coming soon!

It already flashed up in my subscriptions list in YT and I've watched it.
Looks and sounds nice especially the base model. The Pro is a bit exxy for my tastes.

I filmed the full review of the standard model yesterday. The pro is really nice too, but the standard really checks all the boxes. The standard hardware is already really nice. Though the pro bridge and tuners are 'better', I don't feel that there's any added functionality or benefit over the stock hardware. I feel like they have a unique approach to the 'one size fits all' kind of formula that still allows for flexibility and customization without a ton of added cost. Full review will drop in the weeks to come!

I'll look forward to it.

Tell them to make a 5 too.

I hear it's already in the works and supposedly there will be some details available towards the end of the year. I'm excited to see what they come up with. It seems they have put a lot of thought and research into the design and manufacturing of the current Apollo 4.

Excellent. I already have some CF 4s and would like a 5 too.

I agree that from what I've seen so far, they look well thought out.

I was just watching one of your other shows. I thought you were good in Stranger Things. Now I get the secretive Govt job you hinted at in an earlier bass video.

Thanks for the review. I doubt I'll ever see one locally so it's fun to hear it in your videos. I'm surprised how much tonal variation there is from a pair of closely spaced SC PUs.
Not a fan of the aesthetics though.

Having owned an Alembic SS Series 1, I don't think it sounds like Clarke's sound. Good, similarish, but not all that close. It does sound good though.
