Those who have tracking numbers, have your phone ready to take pictures of whatever you receive to to be able to show eBay what was delivered which will probably not be a Bass.

He must have scammed the USPS as well as they're shipping me something. Hopefully, if it's not the bass it's a box of socks, I'm in need of socks and Black Friday is a long way off :Ol

It's possible that the seller is taking a loss on ebay sales in order to move money out of China. It's also possible that they are intentionally losing money on eBay as a means to wash funds gained through credit card fraud. AKA "Triangulation Fraud".

Shortened version of the story from the video I posted above:
Someone buys the bass from eBay, then the seller uses a stolen card to purchase it from "Glarry" who drop ships the item to the buyer. When it's a small amount of $$$ and no-one appears to be taking a loss the system isn't very motivated to intervene.

Unfortunately the sellers can't ramp up volume without raising alarm bells, which is probably why these deals keep dropping out.

Seems odd to thank someone for posting a video that I literally nodded off while watching, but thanks for posting that video that put me to sleep. Don't think I'd ever heard of that. Both scenarios above seem quite plausible. Hard to believe that it could be worth people's while to scam people for $18 a transaction but in many nations that'd be well worth the time even after eBay's cut. Maybe even here if they can get a couple hundred people to bite.

I shared it, outside on Facebook and got a couple people to buy at least three things also.

Maybe they made enough money to hunker down through coronavirus season - assuming they're even in China. Although I could do some serious hunkering in Tennessee with a few grand . . . I'm still hoping that at least the people who bought from robhe will get what they ordered. (Although I could point out that dude has "rob" right there in his name. Kinda like saying "Honey, I gave all our retirement money to this dude named Made-off." Only there's no eBay resolution group for private retirement money.)

The one I bought on the 2nd is coming from NJ via USPS Ground and scheduled to arrive by 3/14. The seller should notify you once it has shipped. eBay has rules regarding shipping. If it’s coming from NJ, remember that USPS Ground Shipping does not include tracking info. This seller has a good record of delivering the goods, even to the $35 buyers. I suspect he bought a bunch of these at a cheap lot price like other resellers and decided to clear it out, to have cash. Some were still in China others were physically in the US. Remember, government run business (especially Communist run businesses) don’t care if they make money. I have NO reason to doubt my 2 won’t be here this coming week.

Again, who cares? If I don't get the product I get my money back. All $18. What the neck is every one arguing about? Is there no reruns of Matlock on?

Ok, here's a weird twist on these basses.....

Mine was supposed to arrive on the 9th. I was sitting on my couch when I get an email saying the bass is delivered. I look on my porch and there is a box..... from Fedex, delivering something else I ordered. Then get an email confirming the Fedex drop off....

So I get two emails from ebay saying both items are delivered.... but only one is there, delivered at 5:00. It says the bass was delivered at 3:40.... strange, I was home. I check my surveillance camera - no one was in front of my house at 3:40 except me, loading up for a gig....

It almost seems like someone hacked the USPS delivery notification system to say something was delivered when it wasn't. Is it possible my neighbor took it? Highly unlikely since it would have showed up on my camera, AND I was outside at the time it was supposed to have been delivered. Is it possible it got delivered to the wrong address? That's what I need to find out...

I have no clue what to do now... contact ebay? As far as they care it says it was delivered. And USPS? I guess I can see if maybe they mis-delivered.....

So strange....
