Totally excited. I have 3 in the queue behind this one, but not sure the time line on any of them. Just trying to let the time pass without obsessing about it.
I don't know how you keep building all these Bordwells, but I love that you do!
Just got notice, final pics coming soon. Shipping on March 5th. This is my 4th or 5th Bordwell, but my first custom build with him. Such a great experience. Can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to the next 3.
Looks like 4 months and one week for the build. About 4 months off from the prediction of when I got in the queue 19 months ago. That's pretty good considering a global pandemic and my build spanned the Christmas holidays and Cliff getting covid. I can't wait to get it. And I can't wait to start the next one!
That's an interesting species of wood for the body core.
The body wood is amapola. This build is going to be just over 6 pounds when done!
I am not familiar with Amapola, but it is certainly nice looking.

I get final pics on Monday. Yesterday was too cloudy. It came in at 6 pounds 13 oz. Ships Monday, should arrive next Thursday. I can't wait!
I bet, the waiting for it in the mail is the hardest! I'm excited for you, can't wait for more pics.

I need to underscore just how comfortable this bass is to play. It balances beautifully. Is under 7 pounds, the neck is so comfortable in the hands, and the upper frets are so accessible. Cliff has outdone himself. This is the work of a true master.
