LS-2 advice sought

OK, so I'm currently running a board that includes a wireless, mooer tender octave, mooer sweeper, tc corona, and tech21 programable sansamp. While I like the tender octave, it doesn't quite do that ugly, dirty, fake synth thing. Given that, I fell into an OC-3 clone, by a company who's name starts with a B. I already own an LS-2, but it hasn't been on this board yet. I'm planning to use it with the "OC-3" so I'm only running thru it when it is on. Given that, should I put all my other pedals in the other loop, or just run them after the LS-2. By using two loops, with everything bypassed, my signal path would be fairly short. Thoughts?? What would you run, and why??

TIA,

Lee

Your signal chain wouldn't be THAT long. I would run the OC-3 with some dirt and possibly a chorus after it. I know that OC-2 tracks poorly in the loop, OC-3 did okay. Don't know about the knock off (I have one, but haven't tried it in the loop).

Umm, so, I wouldn't use anything in the loops. If you have a dirt pedal that won't play nice with bass, then put that in the loop.
LS-2 is a great tool, though, so experiment!

My experience with the only B* pedal that I ever had (BSY600, which is considered one of their best) is that it's actually very nice, but the bypass circuit is very noisy (probably also the main circuit but it's a small price to pay for the very good synth sounds that it has).

So yes, if you care about noise - put it in a loop of its own.

That's the plan. Any thoughts about the rest of the question? Other pedals in the other loop, or after the LS-2?
By putting the other pedals in the other loop you're obviously going to forgo the options to run them in series with the B*. OTOH, IIRC this will add an extra buffer to your chain (IIRC there is no buffer in the LS-2 when completely bypassed, but I may be wrong...), and it will allow you to blend the B* with the other effects (which is probably pointless for this set of pedals (?))

Yeah, I'm leaning toward the B in one loop, nothing in the other, and just have the boss turn the B on and off. That way, I could run the dirty octave into the chorus, or the sweeper. We shall see. In my mind, my dirty octave synth thing will be a stand alone thing. If i don't like the B's dirt, I do have a joyo UD. My PT2 is getting crowded!!
