Luminlay glow-in-the-dark dots

I'm considering trying Liuminlay brand side dots. I've only heard positive things about them, but am interested to hear about any potential downsides, if there are any. Does anyone who has used them dislike anything about them? Thanks.

My only regret is getting the 2.5mm. Now, I wish I'd gotten the 3mm.

Now they look very useful.
I have dots powered off a 9v batt and I have to say I don't really bother with changing the batt but if I needed side dots, I think they'd do the job better than Luminay. I'm not impressed enough with Luminay enough to buy them again.
If I played dark stages or pits, maybe I'd re-evaluate

Do they get very bright and how long do they glow with a moderate amount of "charging"?
Also, when discharged I'm assuming they aren't all that visible in ambient lighting?
