I have an old fretless Fernandes that I picked up here on tb classifieds last year.
I had to considerably I raise the action otherwise it buzzed a lot, almost like a double bass height.
It has a wonderful sound and it is same vintage year as I so I am holding on to it.
But the double bass like action starts to get to me, so at this wonder if the fretboard needs to be repaired.
I am in the Portland area, any suggestions?
