Luthier Schools

Hey hey! Does anyone know any luthier schools or training programs near NYC? I searched online and through the Stewmac list and the closest that came up was Eastern School of fretted instrument repair in NJ. Is there anywhere closer or any other options I should consider? Any thoughts or experiences with Eastern School?
