I thought, if one doesn't exist, we could assemble a list of luthiers and their happy customers who are willing to let others try out their basses, by location. I know we have people running around here who are more than willing to let others try out their prized custom jobs. That could be a very valuable resource for those of us who are in over our heads when we were just looking to get our toes wet when it comes to information and custom work.
