Hondo made a machine gun bass in the 80s. I have seen one in person. Purely a novelty IMO.

+1, I don't understand why anyone would think that a rifle with a scope on it and a detachable magazine would be a machine gun. Of course, one thing I've noticed about a lot of musicians is that they're not usually gun people. Sometimes, but kinda rarely.

He has a point. A headless does not have standard machine heads.

And like others said, this has been on the internet for years, I know multiple people in New Zealand with this picture on their facebook.The exact picture.

IF you really want a gun bass check Amazon I doubt they play very well or sound any good but, atleast you know it's really gonna be shipped to you.

Yeah, I have seen several guitars in the rifle shape over the years and they definitely seemed more like a novelty item than a real instrument, but I can't really attest to their playability, etc.

Never have seen a bass version. Not something I'd ever be interested in owning at all, but it is kind of nice to know they didn't just make 'em for guitar slingers.

Amen brother. I won't get into a big gun thing here but the same reason a flash suppressor or pistol grip makes it evil. omg.
