Thanks Walter...that is a good tip. As for the o-rings...I think part of it is a guitarist who has a new amp/new guitar/and new level every gig. I will look into that though.

also, after fiddling with those "vintage" output EQs (out of curiosity, after reading the above post), i found an annoying problem with them; the "curve" in the display window disappears, so you can't even see what the results of your tweaks look like unless you switch back to the "modern" parametric, which will have been changed
and, the LPF disappears.

seems wildly high.What is a fair price for a used, no-warrantee 1608? The local pawn shop is advertising them at $899, but for that price I'd just buy new and get a warrantee. They also have "compatible iPads starting at $449".
