Mackie SRM450

i have a bass rig that sounds good and cuts for small spaces, but there might be a venue in the future where i need more power. they have mackie srm45o active PA cabs.

current rig: MB150, 12" eminence deltalite cab.

would hooking up one of these mackie 450's give me more oomph? or is that a crappy idea altogether?

Try it. I suspect the 450's won't be on the floor, so you might not get real depth. If they were on the floor, they night sound deeper that your setup. You won't harm the 450's unless you really crank it up. Try it and let us know.

we have 2. one will be a monitor for the vocals. the other one is at my disposal. i can put it either on top of my 12" cab or on the stage floor. i'll see.
