A buddy of mine was made in Indonesia. He's pretty much the same as all my made in the USA friends, but he likes really spicy food. (IMO that might just make him better.....)

I bought a Skyline JO for my kid that is FAR superior to anything in its price range. Fit and finish, quality, feel and playability are unmatched... It would be nice to be able to buy local, but when I compare the JO to say a Fender at the equivalent price, there is just no contest.

My Ibanez SR 655 was made in Indonesia.
It depends on the QC management between the bass company and factory.
Lakland Skyline are made in Indonesia but all their basses will have a QC check and electronic installation in their USA Chicago base. So I kinda convince myself Lakland Skyline is Made in Indonesia+USA
