Made the trailer lighter

I contacted a good friend (my favorite drummer) recently - I have (had) two Peavey 12" monitors and two Peavey 15" monitors, all with "real" horns, all passive, and a very old, working XR600. Did he know of a church or school that could use them? No charge, just to a good home. The answer - yes, a local (to him) middle school. The 12's were all Speakon, the 15's were all 1/4". I searched around and found three Speakon-to-Speakon cables and one fairly long 1/4-to-1/4 cable. My music trailer is less cluttered, it is well over a hundred pounds lighter, and I am no longer carrying around a lot of unnecessary gear. I haven't used any of this gear in years. My current monitors are a pair of ZLX12's, and they do quite well. I have noticed over the past five years that nearly every band member has a powered speaker or a powered monitor of his/her own, and my Presonus has 4 Aux outs, so each gets his/her own mix or can daisy-chain from another monitor.

I still have a lefty guitar or two that I would simply give away to a good home, but we are a small minority. But I am still looking.
