Madison gear GTG

Well alright! Let's get this party started!

Yeah, definitely Madison Music Foundry again. It's a great place. Nice folks, lots of room and we can turn up without bothering anybody.

When is a much more difficult question. May 30th is probably too soon to get everyone together, not to mention whether MMF has any open rooms. Looking at my calendar for June (assuming another Saturday GTG) I can't make the 6th* or 20th. (FYI--21st is Father's Day) June 13th or 27th should work for me. Either of those weekends work for other folks? Weekend after that is July 4th so that's probably out so then we're into mid-July.

*My 15 yr old daughter is involved in the Rock Workshop through the Foundry. They're putting on a concert at the Invalid Link Removed on June 6 from noon-5:00. The Rock Workshop is a program for kids, age 9-17, where they're placed into bands, they rehearse for 2 months, they record at Smart Studios and then put on a show at the High Noon. It should be a blast. All the bands I've heard are pretty good and it's most of the kids first chance at performing in that sort of environment. If anyone's free, I encourage you to stop by and check out the show. It's an all-ages show, no cover charge with lots of loud rock music from some very talented kids. Stop by and check it out if you get the chance.

edit add--Here's my daughter's band rocking out at our practice studio. Off-topic, I know, but indulge me. :)
