Madison gear GTG

Well blow me down, I got the day off! I'd like to try someones B15, I'll bring my new Schroeder 15L's and a very funky old tube PA amp I just got. I will update my webpage to reflect current inventory and am happy to take requests!

PS-to all off duty bassists in Madtown....Come see emblymouse debut with Kyle Henderson's Blue Eyed Soul @ the High Noon this coming Tuesday 23 from 6-8. Kyle was the bassist in 'The Producers' and is fronting this unit. Keyword:FUN:cool:

I'll try to remember to bring my B15. I think morebass was also bringing his but may have names mixed up.

My wife informs me I told her I would go with her Saturday to Appleton to my nephew's graduation party. Shoot.

Bummer Bob- that's right up there with jury duty. We will miss you.

I have 2 new Schroeder 15L+'s, would you like one lump or 2?

5501 w/ Big Singles?
Hamer 8 string?
Kubicki Ex Factor?
73 A neck P?

Pre GTG party tonight 6-8 at the High Noon! Watch me work out w/ Kyle Henderson and Blue Eyed Soul.:bassist:

I'll be there, and will tote my Thunderfunk and an Epifani T-112 plus my old Bassman head. I'll also bring a J Bass sporting Nordstrands.

I'm off the hook for daytime adventures after committing to go to the fireworks with my wife's obnoxious ex TV anchor friend.

Hey Pedro, Thanks for the reply. I should be able to make it for a while. I might sell the Mesa, but probably with the original EVs in it. I could use the 3015s in another cab. I'll bring it along today with the 3015 drivers in it. I'm still going back and forth between it and the Aguilar 4x12. I really like 15" drivers but like the mids and highs on the Aggie.

Bob, you were missed!

No cameras today. It was very interesting day, as a number of different amplification approaches were represented. A small but high quality GTG. Pedro, Tom (emblymouse) Jeff (watspan) Jeff (morebass) and me.

Basses were Tom's featherweight P, Pedro's vintage P, Jeff's active J, watspan's Reverends and my J. Amps were two B-15s, and Orange, two Thunderfunks, a Fender Bassman 100, a Mesa Walkabout head (KILLER), an SVT and Tom's tube PA head. Cabs were Schroeder 1212, Orange, a Mesa 215 with 3015s and a Epifani T112.

Nice relaxed hang. I have a new respect for the Mesa Walkabout head. Pedro's Orange is big fun.

OK Bob....JUST HOW MANY GRADUATES DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR FAMILY?????

almost EVERY GTG you have to go to a graduation.....

wish I would have figured this out sooner - I should have come!!!!! had to work this AM but quit about 1 PM....could have been there by 2:30 (if I did not get a speeding ticket on the way!!!)

want to hear all about it!!!

Nice hangin' with you guys. And the gear was cool. First time for me playing an Orange, Thunderfunk and Walkabout. Very much appreciated! Pedro's Precision is sweeeeeeeeet! Wanted to try Jeff's Rumblefish but ran out of time. So much nice gear, so little time...:)

...all 4 strings too! Nice meeting tom & Jeff and seeing Pedro & Jim again. Jim's 1x12 had great tone and amazing low end for a small box. the mesa head & 2x15 w/ Jeff's jazz deluxe ( i think that's correct) sounded great. pedro's orange was good fun too.

Rug, you were missed. I kept expecting you to show but when you didn't I kind of figured things got complicated for you.

Really enjoyed comparing the B15's. I'd like to try a week long swap sometime but my conclusion is that there is a good reason that the B15N is 'thee holy grail of bass amps. My B15S puts up a good fight but Jeff's baby won the competition walking away.
