Sounds like you guys had a good time, I wish I could've made it. I had friends in town this weekend, we were busy going to Second City and eating great Thai food yesterday.

Really enjoyed comparing the B15's. I'd like to try a week long swap sometime but my conclusion is that there is a good reason that the B15N is 'thee holy grail of bass amps. My B15S puts up a good fight but Jeff's baby won the competition walking away.

I enjoyed the long-awaited B-15 shootout too. They are less similar than I thought they would be. Your S version sounded deeper and gritier than my N. Very fun! I have to agree that the N is the Holy Grail though. Perfect tone to my ear. Too bad there's nothing like it that's loud enough for gigs!

We really have a nice collection of vintage amps among us with Pedro's V4B, Orange, B-15S, and SVT (not to mention '65 P and Jazz!), and Jim's Bassman. Tone heaven!

I am willing to take lead on booking a place - either at Madison Music Foundry or I can try and pull a few strings and see if we can get in at Fullcompass.

We are over due for a hang. I'm either going to use MMF or pull some strings and get us at Fullcompass.
