I have some long-term unsettled questions because I haven't controlled/recorded my testing better. Would be nice to dispose of some of those.

fwiw, when building an acoustic guitar record keeping is a must. top deflection testing results, brace deflection and matching results, chladni patterns, box frequency, thickness measurements of top back and sides, finish type, mixture and thickness of application, etc,, several pages actually. even storing wood offcuts, binding and purfling pieces, and the sound hole blank for future repairs if the instrument ever comes back. in this regard, data counts.

I use flats. I keep the package in the bass case. I don't track anything else.
