The Lexicon MPX-1 doesn't have a shimmer mode, so I made one with the pitch shifter and delay with the pitch shifter as the feedback source. In this example, I added some dampening on the delay to roll off the high end a bit. I added reverb too.
The effect order and mix amount is:
Signal > signal split > Delay 100% (with Pitch as the feedback source) > Pitch 100% > signal mix > Reverb 100%
First is a dry bass harmonic, then pitch shifter only, then with delay, and then with reverb on top with bass harmonics and power chords.
Hightail Spaces
I'm curious how you think this compares to the dedicated shimmer modes on reverb pedals.
