Looks like crap , if it works i would pay 100$ for it or less , burn the body and buy another one which I see pop up . Or build a custom chambered one so its lighter.

Hi.

First off, Thank You for including the pic, usually in threads like this the whole listing is long gone.


While it's sad to see things like that happen to instruments, I do agree with Munji, it's just a Peavey.

I'm into bikes and hot rods as well and as much as it pains me to see what's done to those fabulous pieces of industrial design, whoever owns the said item is free to do whatever they want with it.

I'd probably rescue this one if it was nearer to me.

Maybe he cut it down to fit in an old case for a Vox teardrop bass?

And why do I keep thinking that round hole at the top is a thumbrest?

Guy must have huge hands, but I can't imagine why else it would be there.

I emailed the seller. If the electronics work, and I can get him to ship it to Chicago for a reasonable cost, I'll pick this one up.
