I've got a couple - I lived in Tokyo as a teenager in the '80s and had several Fender Japan basses, but they all had rosewood fingerboards. As an adult in the 2000s I still have a soft spot for MIJ Fenders, but went for maple instead:

Classic Series '70s P-Bass (w/Alembic PJ Activators and Badass II bridge) & Donald Duck Dunn Signature P-Bass. The Alembicized PJ now sports a Moses graphite neck, but I love the look of the maple neck with black blocks.

It isn't a Fender, but they are outstanding if you ever find one for sale. Normandy Alumicaster. This is hands-down my lightest bass. Incredible sustain and the punchiest tone I've played. And the maple neck is dead straight.

My cheapo burst Squier Sonic P. It also comes in California Blue with a maple neck.

Love how you have you the black jazz style knobs with this bass! Looks classy and sleek!

I'm kicking around the idea of getting a maple fretboard P-Bass and thought I'd enlist the assistance of you fine bunch of enablers to help motivate me with a photo barrage of your specimens. I surely don't need another instrument but, if I can find one (<$800) that feels good with nice rounded neck edges, smooth fret finish and satiny feeling neck, I might splurge. I'm not set on it being a Fender product and would look at G&L, or any other with similar lines. Generally, I'd be looking for a FSO that comes in sonic blue, Daphne blue or sea foam green or some variant and has a maple fretboard.

If you like a wide neck it's pretty hard to better the MIM classic 50's models. Also available in fiesta red and off white.

I don't have a pic handy (long story ), but my one and only is a 2013 maple/maple/swamp ash Dingwall Super P four-string with an AlNico V (custom-spaced) Nordstrand NP-4 pickup, and strung with nickel rounds. It meets all of my needs and fills the mix like nothing else.
