my favorite!how does a birdseye/birdseye neck compare to a maple/maple neck?
Birdseye maple is one of my favorite woods. I love to use it on fingerboards. It is strong and stable for necks too.
Here's 1 piece neck blank that'll go on a lefty bass I'm building. The wood beside it is bubinga for the transition block.
