Marcus Miller 4-String

I figured I'd come here and ask the pros.
I found a Marcus Miller 4-stringer for $550 on Craigslist.
The only deal is it doesn't come with electronics (only pickups).
I wanna wire it passive though, do you guys think its worth the cost?

I think that is a great deal. I heard a passive MM that had Aero pups and it sounded fantastic.

Even if its not your style of bass, you can sell it for profit if its in good shape.

I have researched the MM's in the past and found out that they have some flaws in the stock wiring anyway. This way you could just wire it full passive and not worry about it. (and have the option of throwing in a nice pre if you wanted)

I was looking at a used one recently and it had to be the most flawless fender I have ever seen as far as build quality.

Sound like a good deal to me.

picked up the bass today, it is absolutely mint. truss just needs a smidge of adjustment otherwise its perfect. =]
