Marcus Miller Control Plate on Squier VM 5-er?

I have a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V and I'm looking to add a Bartolini 3 band preamp and Bart pups. Does anyone know if the Marcus Miller control panel and battery cover (This one from guitarpartsresource.com: Link Removed) will fit on my bass? I'm just wondering because it doesn't specify if it's for the 4 or 5 stringed bass and I don't want to end up buying it and it doesn't fit.

I have no idea why it wouldn't. Let me know how it turns out and please post some pics if ya get a chance. I wanna do this to my Squier vm jazz!
