Mark J. Smith's Sight Reading Course...

I have purchased two of Mark J. Smith courses (www.talkingbass.net) in the past, and I have enjoyed/learned much from his instruction - he is not only knowledgeable teacher but an effective one, IMO. I am seriously thinking of buying his notation course on sight reading (volumes 1 and 2) but the price tag, for me at least, is a bit high.

Do any of you own this sight reading course, and if so, do you recommend that I buy it? Thank you!

This is an excerpt (video) from that course...click here.

I am in the middle of Level 2 (of Volume 1) of the sight-reading course. Fantastic course! Well done, step by step, a huge amount of documentation and high-quality videos.

You will come to know the fingerboard almost naturally. Highly recommended. If you can afford the price then, do not hesitate, go for it!

I have purchased Vol 1 and 2 but soon after I saw the following link for the Volume one but I have no idea if this option is still purchasable. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Mark Smith is running a 30% off discount for his lessons until 12 pm tonight. Im currently taking 30 min weekly classes-im a beginner, but Mark has his Starter Pack (beginner & fundamentals courses) for $60. Worth the purchase, I assume?
