Used the new amp at a gig for the first time. It sounded awesome. A lot of people commented on how great the Bass sounded through the MarkBass amp. As of right now I'm a happy camper.

Markbass CMD 102P

They are great sounding cabinets. I played a gig last Sunday and had no PA support. My 102p and 102HF were supplying the bass to the room. I had my digital recorder set up in the back and was shocked at how good it sounded.
Poor people on the front row probably got a few teeth rattled out though.

Just bought one of these bad boys a few weeks ago and all I can say is WOW. Keeps up with two loud guitarists and a loud drummer without even going past 4 on the volume. I can't believe it.
Played two gigs with it too and it KILLS! I don't think I'm ever going to need an extension cab. It's ridiculous how much volume this little guy gets.

I bought the cmd 102p about 4 years ago - then returned it bc i could not get a Jaco solo tone with it. Not that I CAN, but I get closer with other rigs.
Well I miss the darn thing- great lows and punch mids.
Do you think it might have been upgraded since a few years ago? And can you deal with what seemed at the time, like harsh highs that interferred with my Jaco solo attempts!?
