Hi all, long-time reader, first-time poster.
Just having some trouble here, my mooferfooger and my markbass aren't playing nice together.
My moogerfooger MF-101 is making a horrible sound whenever i use it with my Markbass Little Mark II. They don't even need to be plugged into each other, just having the markbass and the mf-101 turned on in the same room is enough to make it happen. I've tried a bunch of power supplies with the mf-101 (except my t-rex fueltank...can't find that pesky reverse polarity lead) but no luck. The mf-101 through any other amp/mixer is fine. The noise is more of a "rrrr" than a "sssss", a kind of across-the-whole-spectrum noise that you can't filter out. If the effect is bypassed, the noise is gone though. It happened at my first gig with the markbass and of course i assumed it was the amp (being the only new bit of gear in the chain) but it only does it with the mf101, all my other pedals are fine. So it seems i have to either carry my other much heavier amp or not use the mf-101. Hmm.
Has anyone else had troubles with the markbass interfering with stuff power-wise? I'm assuming that's what is going on here.
