I just got a markbass LMT 500 amp.
And wanted suggestions-into what kind of cab I should use.
I’m presently going through a SWR 4x10 working pro cab.....
Would it be better through a 15” or 2-10”?!?
The amp is mostly used in a medium size jam room.
Music type: rock, pop and r&b
    Best. J

Curious as to why you think the 4x10 won't be enough. I have a 2x10 that is great with my 12 inch Markbass combo but I don't know if it would be better than the SWR for moving air.

I was actually going to swap my SWR for a smaller cab.

Try them out side by side of you can. The 210p is very light and punchy. Can't comment about the 15.

    I have a Markbass Traveler 123 that I really enjoy...it's got a 12, a 6 and tweeter, handles 800 watts, and it's compact!

I’ve used my two Markbass New York 604 cabs with a LMIII and a LM Tube 800 and a Mesa Boogie Subway D800 and the PJB Solid State (can’t remember the model). They worked fine with all those amps and think NY 604s would work well with your LMT 500. Right now I have sold all the aforementioned amp heads and still have the cabs, waiting for an LMII or LMIII to come up for sale. As for the cabs, if you can find NY604s, I think you’ll love them. Congrats on your new LMT 500
