has anyone tried it yet? clips? im looking into a brand spanking new synth, my digitech bass wah annoys me, id like to blend in my clean signal, rather than having it completely enveloped.

It seems pretty expensive. £270?! I'd spend the extra £80 to get a second hand Octavius Squeezer.
To be fair nobody knows what features it's got yet. Maybe it'll do stuff the Squeezer doesn't do, or do some things better.
Looking at the controls, I'm not convinced. I could be totally wrong though.
EDIT: Ok, I actually took the time to read the description. Seems pretty interesting I guess. I didn't notice you could edit the presets with software.
Well one thing it does have over the Squeezer is a USB interface for editing patches. This would've made a lot of sense on the Squeezer but apparently it's considerably harder to do than adding a card slot.
But yeah I don't get how you're supposed to tweak the Markbass patches away from a computer, have to see.
After converting, they look to be priced at around $445.
So more expensive than an EHX BMS, but cheaper than an Octavius Squeezer or Akai Deep Impact. This could get interesting....

The software editing feature looks interesting- the Octavius Squeezer was just a chore when trying to create new patches from scratch.
I think with enough familiarity with the unit, creating patches on the Squeezer isn't so bad. Once you're used to what the params do.
I do wish all the mixer params were in the same group at the start of the menu though - it's a pain to have to scroll nearly all the way through to select what's getting piped where before you go set up the filter, etc.

Ok... FYI the Super Synth is still undergoing some fine-tuning before going into production. We want it to be totally killer so it's taking some time to get everything right.
Sorry for the delay, but it's better to delay a bit and get it right than put something out that isn't up to the standards that our customers expect.

Getting close to production, but to be safe I'd say it won't appear in stores til fall (and this will vary internationally depending on the order schedules and shipping times from country to country).
