Hmm. The jazz doesn't look appealing at all. I like the Kilimanjaro but those barts would need to go. Probably too expensive for an "I know I need mods" project.

That's an interesting statement. I sometimes wonder why the shape of symphonic string instruments hasn't changed in centuries.
These are electric basses but they still retain an important acoustic element that has to weigh in the overall design.
Nice basses, although I'd have to say it's not giving my richard a bona.
Is there any builder Richard Bona is not 'knocking on the door of' , for a 'signature' bass?( the not so polite version sounded differently.)

I'm not going to say that I could do better, but Markbass continues to leave me unimpressed.
