It stands to reason but still really interesting how, if given 'infinite' choices, people have such varied tastes in what a bass should look like.

Agreed, they absolutely stand out in terms of customer friendliness! While not charging exorbitant prices. Yet, their build quality is compared with much higher priced instrument manufacturers.

Nope, I only became really fascinated with their excellent overall quality and recommend it accordingly
I will be reading up on some reviews and watching some video's over the weekend. I don't have the funds for a new bass currently - and no band to provide at least some sort of "spending money" but these are not crazy prices so if I lay off the beers and CD's for a while I should get somewhere soon

I find interesting how many of us went for matching headstocks vs the small number of commercial basses with them.
I am now toying with a Jake where I prefer a non-matching headstock on a flamed maple, transparent Cherry burst glossy body.

I just realized that the prices INCLUDE taxes, rather than exclude them. This makes them on average EUR 300.- cheaper than I thought this morning ... Divorce, here I come! Just kidding, honey!

Don't think you've dodged it for long.....I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the Frog is the next bass due for the configurator.....
