Mary Huff!!!

I got to see SCOTS a few months ago, first time in a long time. Yes, Mary rocks! And she still rocks the short skirts, too.;)

Glad to see Mary getting some love on TB. She's awesome as is SCOTS. Rick Miller brings chops and humor to his guitar playing. A friend I turned on to the band, who loves guitar, made the comment to me after the show, that it was almost too much guitar. If you haven't seen them, you must.

Mary (and Dave) both went to school with my wife here and the band I'm in now, the guitarist played with them right before SCOTS, still remain close friends. Hope to get to do a show with them in March. Yes, all are super folks and Mary is a very solid player. Seen them a bunch of times live and have got to hang with them when they are back in town.

Go Mary Go.....

I know I'm resurrecting an ancient thread; but my band got to open up for SCOTS in 1999 and they were so good, down to earth and cool. They even played Meximelt for me by request. Rick said they hadn't played it in years but I love all of their instrumentals. I really dig their surf stuff and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of pedal Mary used on the song Mudbuggy? It's such a cool distorted bass sound and I was a bit star struck when we played with them that I forgot to ask.
