massachusetts bassists club

i didnt see a club for massachusetts. anyone near western mass ? im a few miles from northampton. i was wondering if it would be a good idea to start a real club. we could meet once a month at my house to jam, ( i have a 1958 gretsch roundbadge kit and i play a little drums too) solo, play covers, tell stories, try each others instruments and amps, play favorite recordings, share groupie photos, badmouth certain talk bass members, all kinds of stuff. any other suggestions on what we could do for activities ? i will buy the pizza and chinese food and beer. in the 80's i used to go to a friends house and like 12 musicians would show up to jam and talk. it was a blast, and i miss it. johnny a. staind.

Brighton, Andover and Jamaica Plain (gf's house) but I vacation in RI! Little Compton. Also Williamsburg MA, so I appreciate North Hampton.
I feel bad for how much taxes homeowners in NH have to pay! No sales tax so it all comes out of homeowners.

I'm from Central MA (Auburn) and there are a dozen or so others that get together in this area a few times a year to do just this. It's always a great time! Some or most of them are members on here but probably not as active as most. We do most of our chatting on a local forum.
