matching guitar and bass

Kinda like this? Both the maple-glo's are gone now, that 12 string was great, I miss it, especially now.

Most of this has been positive and fun.I know the pickguards dont match. Its kind of like 2 mustangs same year same color different rims,A bass and guitar can never be the same I just was looking for similar treatments.I know that 2 identical guitars can never be identical. It was just an exercise in similarities in looks, meaning body shape and color. Many of your posts are of nice looking instruments

the question to that gentleman is'nt how is a strat like a jazz because they are not alike in the sense that they are the same instrument they are different animals. The similarities are in being fender being black being instruments that revolutionized modern music.I as most of these folks here are aware that they are not alike in the literal sense.I know this because I play both of them on my recordings.I still like seeing twin instruments I guess thay are more like paternal twins than identical twins.I started the thread because I was wondering how many bassist had bass guitars and 6 stringers that look similar.I especially liked those red fenders and all the pictures were great.Just be glad I did'nt show you an identical flute and tuba
