Matching Headstocks..am I nuts?

So I had Mrs Gator drop me off at the Dr's office yesterday.After the positive comments that I have recieved here it seems that I am not alone in my quest for matching headstocks.I took my whammy neck prototype with the matching headstock that I've been working on.The Doc says what I have is perfectly normal..though it can't be cured..as long as they put out different shades of paint, attacks can come up at anytime.I guess I'll join a support group..maybe there are enough folks here.We could meet at the Duron or duplicolor store.It looks like I'm not nuts after all.;)

My fellow Low Ender aws1963 suggested a great idea for the headstock picture in a PM...it seems that great minds think alike..this is the reason that I took the pic in the first place.

Here's some of the requests for pics..as for that "Thing" at the bottom right of the circle pic...I can assure everyone that it is indeed the chair leg that I stood on to take the picture...:o

Hey sneha..I played with a classic rock band called Magic from the mid 70's untill mid 90's..I subbed for Wildcard while their Bass guy recovered from a badly fractured arm.
These days I'm building,modding and doing setups for local players.As we all know the local clubs are drying up fast,and the ones that still have live music pay bands less than we were making in the 80's...so I'm "retired"unless the right thing comes along..
Glad you dig the Basses...;)

Since this thread has come around again..here's one that I neglected to include..(you Rickheads..don't dog me about the mods.;)..)..A 74 that was my #1 from the mid 70s until tha late 90s...Kids..don't stand too close to the drummer..those cymbals come out of nowhere...

I know the body shot is abit dark but i've left my stand at a gig so had to lean it against the wall. I'm gonna clean it up and get some proper shots next week :)
