Build your own. I am not what I would call a handy-man but its really easy to cut 6 pieces of plywood, screw them together and spray paint it flatblack. There is a bit more to it than that but really, the average person could build one in less than 3 hours... my guess. I built one for my LMII and have my 3 pedals velcro'd to the top (using packing tape between the amp and the velcro to not mar the finish of the amp). Unfortunately, I took it apart as I am using the hardware to build an amp case for my RH450 (which is enroute). I salvaged the plastic corner protectors and strap handle off my Fender Rumble 15 practice combo. Anyway, its totally do-able if a bit of thought is put into it. Costs way less than $50. You just need the wood, rent the jigsaw, buy/salvage the hardware (I bought most of mine at the dollar store), spray paint etc. I am going to attempt putting tolex on the rh450 case, but that gets a little more complicated. If I fail at that, I'll just spray paint it flat black.
Another thing is that if you have the MB bag and zippers are super crappy (I bought one and quickly returned it) you can bring the bag to a seamstress and she can replace the zippers with something high quality for probably less than $20. That's what I would do.

I'm a train wreck w/ tools -they say it skips a generation. my father was frickin' Gepetto (and a math whiz) . . . my kids are going to be brilliant, but as for me - I'm screwed!!

how in the hell can you put out a case for an amp that costs the same? I just dont get it? I'm a big fan of MB stuff but this just boggles me.
