Here was the lightbulb moment set up for me Friday night. Chrissy ply - dead to the world spiro weichs - Ehrlund - fdeck - shuttle 3.0 - Carvin 300age. I think I may be upgrading to a better preamp soon. This also sounds pretty damn good with my copper realist and I could live with that as well. I think that pairing the shuttle with the Carvin has been a huge upgrade sound wise and I A/B the Realist and Ehrlund between tunes. The one downside to my set up is they no longer make the wonderful GB amps. One added benefit is the Carvin can be pole mounted.

Are you still using the Carvin 300AGE? That cabinet has piqued my curiosity.
