Yeah...the tone surprised me.
And it's very loose, bordering on slop.
I thought it sounded weak, like the 6 string thing that George and John sometimes used, maybe with a more processed sound.

I've just started watching this series and it is one of the best that I have ever seen.
As someone who always liked the Beatles but never really did anything but listen to their songs in passing, hearing some of the isolated tracks is a revelation.
I would really love to have their songs in multitrack to be able to listen to the parts separately.
I would also really love to hear their songs remixed and mastered with a more modern ear..... I'm only onto episode 5 and have been listening to some of the songs featured and in some cases they now appear to be lacking something compared to the mix on the show.
It also helps that I'm watching and listening to it in my studio with a decent sound system.
